Gapyuel Seo is an Assistant Professor of Visual & Performing Arts department at Springfield College, and he is teaching "3D Game Design", "3D Animation", "2D Animation", "Drawing", "2D Design", "Sensitivity and the Creative Process", “Rigging for 3D Animation”, “Character Development for 3D Animation and Video Games” courses.
From 1999 to 2010, Gapyuel have been working for Vicarious Visions Inc. and has excelled to the role of ‘Senior Artist’. Vicarious Visions, became a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision Inc. in 2005, and is best known for developing video games titles such as “Guitar Hero”, “Spiderman,” “Need For Speed Underground,” and “Crash Nitro Kart.” Gap-Yuel has completed and is credited on over 16 published video game titles on gaming platforms such as the Sony Playstation, Playstation2 and Playstation Portable (PSP), Nintendo Wii and DS, Microsoft Xbox.
In addition to his professional game production experience, Gapyuel has organized and instructed Four workshops in South Korea, “Game Design and Game Development Process”
(Seoul, Korea, 2011), "Game Design in the Future" (Seoul, Korea, 2006),"Game Design of Today" (Seoul, Korea, 2004) and “Character Design & Animation” (Seoul, Korea. 2004).
Also, he taught at Pratt Institute for “VR/Game Graphics” class from the 2006, and at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) for “3D Character Development” class from the 2010.
